Our inspiration
Tiny Gallery Trail was inspired by Juliet Whitsetts's Really Small Museum in Austin, Texas. Her idea helped shape the experience we are building today.
Vision
To see the Tiny Gallery Trail as a community-powered arts experience in Elmwood—where accessible art lives in everyday spaces, artists are supported, and neighbors connect through shared creativity. As it grows, the Trail becomes a replicable model for neighborhoods across Dallas to celebrate culture, strengthen identity, and build vibrant local pride.

Tiny Gallery Trail: Guiding Principles
ElmArt Collective
The Tiny Gallery Trail is the first project built by the ElmArt Collective—a volunteer arts collective rooted in the Elmwood neighborhood of Oak Cliff. Driven by creativity and community, we develop grassroots arts programming that supports artists and strengthens neighborhood identity. At the heart of our work is a belief that art is more than something to admire—it’s something that connects us. Through shared creative experiences, we aim to build meaningful relationships across cultures, generations, and backgrounds, using art as a welcoming bridge that brings neighbors together and fosters a deeper sense of belonging.
