PORTRAITS
Aug 1 - Oct 3, 2026
Exhibit made possible by Lucas Reader Realty
Cornelious Brackens, Jr. found painting through the Stewpot Art Program run by the First Presbyterian Church of Dallas. He had no training, only curiosity and faith. His bold, folk-style portraits depict friends and neighbors, capturing character over likeness. He has exhibited at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, and Laura Bush displayed his gifted religious painting in the White House residence.

Inaugural Exhibit:
Elmwood!
Apr 25 - Aug 1, 2026
Take a walk through Elmwood and discover a small-but-mighty showcase of art created by neighbors who call this place home. The inaugural Tiny Gallery Trail features five Elmwood-based artists sharing personal stories and perspectives inspired by the neighborhood.
Each tiny gallery offers a different view — no single story, just the many voices that make Elmwood unique.
