Everything you need to create and submit work for the Tiny Gallery Trail is here. This page covers the gallery box locations across the Elmwood neighborhood, interior dimensions and display specifications, what each box can and cannot accommodate.

Tyler Station Gallery Box #1

Location: Outside Pegasus Creative Reuse, 1300 S. Polk St. #274

About the space

  • Top and front access

  • Shaded lighting conditions

  • Back and side wood mounting surfaces

  • Removable 11x14" foam panel that can be repositioned to bring work closer to the plexiglass front

View dimensions for size and depth allowance

This box is a good fit for

  • Flat and mounted work — drawing, painting, print, photography, and mixed media

  • Shallow three-dimensional or sculptural work within the depth allowance

  • Small-scale installation within the enclosed space
     

A few things to keep in mind

  • Works requiring electrical power or lighting are not currently supported

  • Works involving living or perishable materials may have seasonal limitations

Fishbowl Gallery Boxes #2,3,4  

Locations: 

  • #2 — Elmwood Blvd and S. Polk St.

  • #3 — Elmwood Blvd and S. Edgefield

  • #4 — Elmwood Blvd and Brunner Ave
     

About the space

  • Top and one front access

  • Direct sunlight exposure

  • Side wood mounting surface

  • Removable 14x15" foam panel that supports two flat and mounted works that can be seen from two side

View dimensions for size and depth allowance

These boxes are a good fit for

  • Flat and mounted work — drawing, painting, print, photography, and mixed media

  • Three-dimensional or sculptural work within the depth allowance

  • Small-scale installation within the enclosed space
     

A few things to keep in mind

  • Works requiring electrical power or lighting are not currently supported

  • Solar-powered lighting extends evening viewing by about three hours on a full sunny day

  • Works involving living or perishable materials may have seasonal limitations

Location: West of the crossover bridge in Elmwood Parkway Park, nearest cross streets Rugged Dr and Newport Ave

About the space

  • Top installation access only

  • Direct sunlight exposure

  • Two back wall mounting surfaces 

  • Removable 11x14" foam panel that can be repositioned to bring work closer to the plexiglass front

This box is a good fit for

  • Flat and mounted work — drawing, painting, print, photography, and mixed media

  • Shallow three-dimensional or sculptural work within the depth allowance

  • Small-scale installation within the enclosed space
